Hey, Jordan here. Owner and designer. I’ve been designing graphics for both print and digital applications for over 12 years, and this journey has ultimately led me to create Hatchworks Design Co., and I’m thrilled to share it with you. The name “Hatchworks” is a tribute to my grandfather, Gus Hatch, who inspired me to find beauty in everything. A true renaissance man—artist, musician, carpenter, and woodworker—he taught me to see the world through an artist’s eyes.
As your designer, I am dedicated to guiding you through every step of the design process. Whether you’re new to publication development or looking for a fresh approach, I’ve got you covered. I specialize in crafting visually compelling layouts and designs tailored to your unique project, whether it's a book, magazine, or other. Reach out today, and let’s discuss how we can bring your vision to life. I look forward to collaborating with you!
"It seems almost impossible to find a graphic designer who is creative, flexible, responsive, and overall a joy to work with, and Jordan encompasses all of those qualities. I’ve worked with him on countless projects for multiple organizations and have been blown away each time. Whether you have an exact vision or no vision at all, Jordan can make your words and photos come to life on the page. Magazines, logos, flyers, event programs and signage, social media graphics - you name it, Jordan can do it. His work on one of my publications even won a major industry award! Creating any publication is an extensive process and Jordan makes it easy and seamless, even throughout the editing process. I would recommend his company for all of your graphic design needs, small and large."

"Jordan's work ethic and ability to transform thoughts into creative is top-notch. He is responsive and level-headed. He listens intently to my ideas and is attentive to revisions. Working on a 72-page magazine isn't for the faint of heart, but Jordan makes it look easy. If you want someone that listens, shares constructive feedback, and doesn't stop working on your project until you're completely satisfied, he's your designer. I will always recommend Jordan to anyone looking for graphic design or publication design work. I love the final product and I'm excited about all the projects we will work on together in the future."

The Legacy
Born in Vernal, Utah in 1924, Gus Hatch worked with his hands from an early age. From drawing and painting to playing the drums to carpentry, he–and his hands–were always busy.
As a young boy, Gus learned the tools of the construction trade from his father, a general contractor. He worked in the residential and commercial construction fields in Utah, later moving to Tennessee to accept a job building grain elevators along the Mississippi River. Another job opportunity presented itself in 1968, and Gus moved his family to Florida where they put down roots. After retirement, he was able to dedicate more time to one of his many passions – fine woodworking.
Just as he learned from his father, Gus passed his love for woodworking on to me. Ever since I was a little kid, I was at my grandpa’s feet, carefully studying his tools and techniques. From pounding nails to eventually working with the scroll saw and lathe, I spent countless hours in the shop, honing my creativity and passion for woodworking.
